The Times They are a’Changing…
Trouble is, like everything new, upgraded and radically different, it’s taking more time than we anticipated. But we’re getting there and the new stuff has already begun to happen, though in small increments. Fundamentally, though, I’ve been feeling guilty, so I’m going to do a couple of short blog entries over the next few days, explaining what I’ve been up to recently, apart from working on the next novel in the “Guardians Trilogy”.
One visitor to the Site brought up a very valid point recently, and it was one I had not even thought about before. He expressed his disappointment that, until now, there has been no address associated with this site to which readers and members can send personal emails. He’s absolutely right, of course, but it hasn’t been a willful thing on our part, (Mark’s and mine) because when we started this site it wasn’t exactly easy to set up an address like that and it’s something we lost sight of in the interim… But I finally got the message and did something about it…
From now on, anyone wanting to write to me directly can do so at this address: [email protected]. It’s brand new, direct to me, and you can use it any time you so wish. I tried to use every variant of my own name I could think of, but none were available and so I had the brainwave of using the site’s old name, camulod.com, in some capacity, and managed to register this new name right off the bat. So, there’s now a direct avenue to my attention… [email protected]. I’ll be looking forward to hearing from any of you who feel the urge to write to me….

Just wondering if one of the email addresses you tried to register with was [email protected]? If so, then I guess I’m guilty of blocking you from using that one.
I’d set it up ages ago when we first got the new message board, in order to use it to help some of the people who used to post here in getting their avatars up and running on the message board, at a time when we could use avatars here.
I never use it any more, but recently went through quite the process to change the password for it, as I’d forgotten what I’d used as a password there.

We’re in ‘waiting’ mode here, hanging on the cusp of an entirely new format we’ve been working on for months, so the answer to your question is “Yes”. Webmaster Mark already has a preview of the new book, “Renegade”, in hand, but I guess he’s waiting to unveil it with the rest of the new material. And “Yes”, too, to your question about Surrey. My God, that’s only two weeks away! See you there.

I might have had a favourite saying once, long time ago . . . but it’s been so long since I’ve been that enthusiastic about anything that I’ve probably forgotten whatever it was, if it ever existed at all… As for the whusky, however, you can never go far wrong with good old, honest Glenmorangie.

I cannot wait for what comes next. It brings my Scottish history to a point that my grandparents would be proud. Thank you again
